A gentle, playful, community-oriented introduction to intuitive movement & freeform dance. Through mindfulness and a progressive series of body-oriented invitations, participants are supported to ground, breathe, stretch, move, and dance in ways that feel nourishing to them and to authentically connect with others. You may recognize familiar influences like yoga, Qi Gong, breathwork, ecstatic dance, mindfulness meditation, and tapping.

You are welcome to bring food and beverage to enjoy during the class. This class is for adults 18+. If you have any accommodation needs please let us know so we can set you up for success! In an effort to make this class accessible for all who wish to participate, ticket costs have been partially subsidized by a grant from the Community Foundation for Crawford County to promote the therapeutic benefits of participating in all forms of art.
Instructor Bio:
Whitney Dawn Pyles is a Somatic (Body-Oriented) Coach and Facilitator. She is dedicated to guiding individuals and groups towards self-forgiveness, nervous system regulation, passion, purpose, and play. She believes the magic happens when we allow ourselves to show up authentically in all of our beautiful complexity, that dance is our BIRTHRIGHT, movement is medicine, and that our job, during our short time on this planet, is grounded in enJOYment and empathy.
