Membership can be purchased at the door or https://crawfordcountyartcenter.com/become-a-member/. \nAccess to CCAC tools includes brushes\, Silhouette\, linocut\, sewing machines\, embossing\, heat guns\, and more!\n*Exhaustible supplies such as canvas\, paint\, clay\, yarn\, etc. not included.  \nFor National Poetry Month\, at each Open Studio in April local writer Sarah is offering an optional brief introduction/refresher on Haiku along with other prompts and games to help you translate your lived moments of enlightenment into words. All skill levels of writers are welcome\, even if you hate writing poetry…especially if you hate writing poetry! \nWe will wrap up our celebration of National Poetry Month on the last Monday with an open mic where all writers are invited to share their work.

SUMMARY:Tai Chi: The Art of Self-Defense
DESCRIPTION:Master Roger teaches defensive tai chi\, a dancing martial art he has learned from a Japanese master. The style is a family style\, traceable back to Chen Wangting. It is taught Japanese style\, without katas\, and is trained by reaction. As it uses the opponent’s energy\, balance\, and stance against them\, learning\ndoes not require strength or speed. It is suitable for all adults of all abilities. \nThis class is for adults 18+ and will require a waiver to be signed to participate. Donations are appreciated but not required. Please bring a water bottle – refills are available. Advance sign up is not necessary – feel free to stop by and observe a class!
