SUMMARY:Tai Chi: The Art of Self-Defense
DESCRIPTION:Master Roger teaches defensive tai chi\, a dancing martial art he has learned from a Japanese master. The style is a family style\, traceable back to Chen Wangting. It is taught Japanese style\, without katas\, and is trained by reaction. As it uses the opponent’s energy\, balance\, and stance against them\, learning\ndoes not require strength or speed. It is suitable for all adults of all abilities. \nThis class is for adults 18+ and will require a waiver to be signed to participate. Donations are appreciated but not required. Please bring a water bottle – refills are available. Advance sign up is not necessary – feel free to stop by and observe a class!

DESCRIPTION:Register for tickets here or purchase in-person during any open hours! $20 members/$25 non-members https://www.zeffy.com/ticketing/christmas-in-july-gourd-ornament \nJoin Instructor Suzanne to make a Santa ornament (one of three different versions available) from a dried gourd! All supplies are provided and additional kits will be available. Since we are using a natural product\, sizes and shapes may vary somewhat. \nSuzanne has taught classes with Burnt Sienna\, Earth Wind and Flowers\, and at the Ohio Gourd Show.  \nYou are welcome to bring food and beverage to enjoy during the class and we are DORA-friendly! This class is for all ages. If you have any accommodation needs please let us know so we can set you up for success! Tickets for classes non-refundable. The Crawford County Art Center is 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Proceeds from our classes go toward operating costs and providing free art programming to the community.
